Oasis: Three Visits, Three Eras

1998 — Britpop Reaches Santiago

Oasis’ first Chilean appearance came on 14 March 1998 at Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo, during the Be Here Now tour. This show marked Chile’s introduction to Oasis at their commercial peak, arriving as Britpop’s global reach expanded into South America.

2006 — The Mid-Career Return

On 12 March 2006, Oasis returned to Santiago at Velódromo Estadio Nacional during the Don’t Believe the Truth tour. By this point, the band were operating as a hardened live unit, and Chile had become a repeat destination rather than a novelty stop.
