Liam Gallagher’s Favourite Oasis Songs Revealed

In a recent 73 Questions video for Vogue—detailed by Far Out Magazine—Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was challenged to name his favourite Oasis tracks.

“Supersonic”
Gallagher’s very first choice was undoubtedly the song that introduced Oasis to the world. Released as their debut single on 11 April 1994, “Supersonic” features Noel Gallagher’s signature guitar riffs and surreal lyrics, encapsulating the band’s blend of swagger and melody.

“Live Forever”
Next on his list was the optimistic anthem “Live Forever,” released 8 August 1994. Written by Noel Gallagher prior to Liam joining the band, the track’s hopeful lyrics and soaring chorus marked a defiant contrast to the grunge movement of the era.

“Cast No Shadow”
In a nod to deeper album cuts, Liam also selected “Cast No Shadow” from (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (released 2 October 1995).
