D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman is a nostalgic Track by Oasis, written by Noel and sung by Noel with backing vocals from Liam. It was originally recorded in spring 1993 in producer Mark Coyles bedroom and first appeared on the Live Demonstration tape. The song was officially released as a B-side to their second single Shakermaker. The lyrics reflect on childhood dreams and the realties of growing up, with Noel reminiscing about old friends, lost aspirations, and the grind of adult life with bills and responsibilities. Its about reconnecting and not judging life's paths, with an optimistic nod that it's never to late to chase those dreams.
