: "Falling Down" features on Oasis's seventh and final studio album, Dig Out Your Soul (2008). It was released as the album's third single on March 9, 2009.It holds historical significance as the last new single released by Oasis before the band abruptly split in August 2009 due to the ongoing feuds between the Gallagher brothers. A remix by the Chemical Brothers was released as a free download in August 2008. The original song also served as the opening theme song for the anime series Eden of the East.The track was produced by Dave Sardy and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London and Hillside Manor. It has been noted for its psychedelic vibe, a departure from the band's earlier, more direct rock sound. Fans and critics have described it as having a "dark foreboding feel" and a "haunting" quality, with dense instrumentation including mellotrons and drums compared to The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows".
