A day after The Mirror reported that members of Oasis’s long-time road crew were excluded from the band’s “friends and family” ticket allocations for their 2025 reunion tour, frontman Liam Gallagher took to X to fire back with characteristic cheek

On June 29, 2025, The Mirror revealed that crew members had not been offered complimentary tickets, instead being given only purchase links and discount codes to secure seats alongside fans.

Responding later that evening, Gallagher quipped:

“Our crew members don’t have friends and their wives and husbands are glad to see the fking backs of them and tell me an’ ry kid every time we see ’em they don’t know how we put up with them on a daily basis let alone go around the fking world with them FYI."

The remark appears to be classic Gallagher banter rather than a genuine grievance, poking fun at both the original report and his own famously acerbic persona.

Oasis’s Live ’25 Tour kicks off on July 4, 2025 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, with support from Richard Ashcroft and Cast, before crisscrossing the UK and Ireland in a 19-date run that leads into shows across North America, Asia, Oceania, and South America.

Despite the behind-the-scenes kerfuffle, anticipation remains sky-high as the band prepares to take the stage together for the first time in 16 years. Fans can expect a setlist blending Oasis classics with solo material, marking a landmark return for one of Britpop’s defining acts.
