Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger is heading to Disney+ this October, bringing the story of the band’s Live ’25 reunion to a much wider audience following its cinema and IMAX release.
The documentary follows Liam and Noel Gallagher’s return to the stage, combining footage from the huge 2025 comeback shows with behind-the-scenes material charting Oasis’ return after more than 15 years apart.
Disney+ is also expected to feature additional material connected to Liam and Noel’s joint interview, extending the unusually candid access to the brothers that accompanied the documentary’s original release.
From cinemas and IMAX to Disney+
The move to streaming gives Oasis fans who missed the theatrical run another opportunity to see the film at home, while also opening it to an audience far beyond those who attended the cinema release.
Its arrival comes at a particularly significant point in the latest chapter of the Oasis reunion. Attention has already shifted towards Oasis Live ’27, with all 42 announced shows on the expanded tour now sold out.
That makes the Disney+ release more than simply a second window for the documentary. Don’t Look Back in Anger captures the comeback that established Oasis as a major live force again, while the extraordinary demand for the 2027 dates shows how far the reunion has developed since those first comeback concerts.
Inside the Oasis Live ’25 comeback
Don’t Look Back in Anger works both as a concert film and as a record of one of the most closely watched reunions in British music.
Alongside the scale and atmosphere of the Live ’25 shows, the documentary focuses on Liam and Noel Gallagher and the relationship at the centre of Oasis — a relationship that had appeared to make a reunion almost impossible for much of the previous decade and a half.
The film therefore documents more than the concerts themselves. It captures the point at which Oasis moved from years of speculation about a possible reconciliation to performing together again in front of enormous audiences.
For fans, it also preserves the atmosphere surrounding a comeback that rapidly became one of the biggest music stories of 2025.
Oasis story now moves towards Live ’27
The Disney+ release will give that comeback story another major audience just as Oasis prepare for their next phase.
Live ’27 will take the band back into stadiums across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, with the expanded 42-date schedule including another return to Knebworth.
With every announced show already sold out, the reunion has clearly moved beyond being a one-off return. Don’t Look Back in Anger now serves as the document of how that second era of Oasis began — arriving on streaming as the band prepare to continue it in 2027.
