Release Notes

Written and produced by Noel Gallagher, the track features psychedelic rock influences with a notable saxophone solo, running for 5:41 minutes.

The song originated from a drinking session in Los Angeles with Russell Brand and Morrissey, where Morrissey played a compilation CD that inspired Gallagher.

Gallagher has called it one of his favorite tracks he's ever written, comparing its emotional depth to Oasis' "Wonderwall."

It was released as a single on May 11, 2015, via Sour Mash Records, with "Leave My Guitar Alone" as the B-side.

Thematically, it explores distraction, amends, and fleeting love, with imagery of rain
