Featured as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of their 2015 album Chasing Yesterday. Written, produced, and performed by Noel Gallagher, the track blends alternative rock with a Beatles-inspired piano progression, running for 3:09 minutes.
The song was initially released on February 25, 2015, as part of the Japanese and Japanese Deluxe editions of Chasing Yesterday, the band's second studio album, which was recorded from 2012 to 2014 at Strangeways and Abbey Road Studios in London.
It later appeared as the B-side to the single "Riverman" on May 11, 2015, via Sour Mash Records.
Fans and commentators often interpret the lyrics as a reference to the 2009 incident where Noel's brother Liam Gallagher smashed his guitar during a backstage altercation at the Rock en Seine festival, which precipitated the breakup of Oasis.
The album Chasing Yesterday topped the UK Albums Chart and was certified Platinum by the BPI for over 300,000 units.
